Masjid al-Aqsa is referred to in the Holy Qur'an many times. Allah Most High says that he has 'blessed' the land for all His creation. This beautiful Mosque is in Jerusalem, and was the second house of Allah built soon after the Ka'bah in Makkah.
There are many hadiths which praise Jerusalem and make it sacred. Al-Aqsa was the first qibla for Muslims.
The Prophet Muhammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) came to Masjid al-Aqsa on the incredible night journey Al-Isra' and Al-Mi'raj
Jews believe that the Temple of Solomon is buried below Al Aqsa mosque, and extremist Jews have called for the destruction of the mosque to rebuild the alleged temple.
The mega plan of Zionism is to raze the actual Al Aqsa to ground, and fool the people of the world by showing the Dome of the Rock as that would be left intact! The hate merchants, however, forget the fact that Allah is the Protector of His house. May Allah defeat the ploy of a people who went astray. Aameen.
